Our leader
Supt. Alfred R. Tillman
Pastor · Tabernacle Church of God in Christ
Supt. Alfred R. Tillman’s connection to Tabernacle began early in life. Born into the church family and raised one block from the church, he attended preschool at Tabernacle. The church helped form the spiritual foundation of his life and ministry.
At Liberty Church of God in Christ, he received spiritual training under Pastor Hubbard and served in youth ministry and the youth divisions of the church’s auxiliaries.
As a young man, he returned to Tabernacle and continued serving the church that shaped his earliest years. His years of faithful membership reflect his commitment to ministry, service, and the spiritual well-being of the congregation.
Today, Supt. Tillman leads Tabernacle with respect for its history and care for its members, carrying its ministry forward.
